Surprisingly, he had unknowingly planted the seed for this decision years earlier during a breakfast event where he encountered a captivating guest speaker. At the time, he had made a passing comment about mowing lawns for a living, never realizing that fate would guide him towards exactly that path.

Shaping the Training Program: A Commitment to Excellence

As a franchisee, Mike underwent training sessions that took place in a scout hall, equipped with basic facilities but abundant in valuable information.

In those days, the training program spanned a couple of days, including hands-on experience with a franchisee out in the field. While the training was commendable, it is worth noting the significant evolution that Jim’s Group’s training program has undergone since then.

Mike’s Transition to Regional Franchisor

Mike’s dedication and love for the business became evident as he quickly progressed within Jim’s Group. Just three years after becoming a franchisee, he took the leap to become a regional franchisor.

Acquiring regions and expanding his influence, he carved out a prominent role for himself within the Jim’s Group, taking charge of the traditional western suburbs with around 25 franchises under his wing.

Becoming the Training Manager
