We called for nominations across the network and asked franchisees and franchisors to put names forward. Nominations stayed open for several weeks.
Every nomination went to the Advisory Committee, and each member cast two votes. Six people won: four franchisors and two franchisees.

Ali Olmez, Jim’s Cleaning Group CEO
Ali Olmez has served Jim’s for 21 years across a number of roles, and today he leads the Jim’s Cleaning Group as CEO. The Advisory Committee recognised that contribution with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Franchisors and franchisees across many divisions hold Ali in high regard. He has created and rolled out initiatives the whole network now relies on, and the team is grateful for the work he has put in.
Ali has helped many people take their first step into business and supported their families along the way.

Steve Turner, Jim’s Termite & Pest Control
Steve Turner from Jim’s Termite & Pest Control is a 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
His franchisor, Stephanie Paddick, wrote this about Steve:
“Steve runs a respected business. But his real mark is on everyone else’s.
Over the years he has quietly made the whole Jim’s network stronger. He has:
- Negotiated national supplier deals with Agserv, Makita, Total Tools and Bridgestone, with benefits now reaching franchisees across every division.
- Landed a 15% Bridgestone tyre discount for all Jim’s franchisees and their families.
- Mentored new franchisees and checked in to keep their confidence up.
- Shared work from his own business when others hit a quiet patch.
- Given back locally to wildlife rescues, sporting clubs and RSLs.
- Built an opportunity for another franchisee to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the FAOPMA Pest Summit 2026 in New Zealand.
Steve does not chase awards or recognition. He measures success by trust, repeat customers, and long-term relationships. His customers know him by name and welcome him back.

Paul King, Franchisor, Jim’s Mowing and Jim’s Cleaning
Paul King started as a franchisee and now works as a regional franchisor across Jim’s Mowing and Jim’s Cleaning. He has contributed at every level for years.
Paul still shapes the direction of his divisions and the wider group, driven by a relentless push to improve. He mentors many franchisors in the mowing division and has backed the group with a long list of data-driven initiatives.

Bill Cobanoglu, Divisional Franchisor, Jim’s Laundry Services and Franchisor, Jim’s Cleaning Group
Bill Cobanoglu started as a franchisee in 2001. Since then he has worked as a regional franchisor with the Jim’s Cleaning Group and launched his own division, Jim’s Laundry Services.
Bill has helped hundreds of people start a successful small business, and he has built a strong support team for his franchisees with his family closely involved.
He will pass the 200 franchisee mark soon with Jim’s Laundry Services, another success story in his career. Respected as a leader and a friend across the group, Bill has earned this recognition.

Dan Cahill, Divisional Franchisor, Jim’s Mowin
Dan Cahill started as a franchisee in 2018 and now serves as the Divisional Franchisor for Jim’s Mowing.
Many new franchisees point to Dan’s story as the reason they had the confidence to join. He looks for every chance to promote the Jim’s Mowing brand and never holds back an idea. He has helped many people start and run a successful Jim’s Mowing franchise.
Dan is supported by his wife Mel. He even named his twin boys David and James in honour of our founder. That is commitment to the brand.

Tyronne De Silva, Jim’s Car Detailing Mulgrave
Tyronne De Silva from Jim’s Car Detailing Mulgrave received the most nominations of any winner, all from his fellow franchisees. That alone shows the support he gives the people around him. He has also won multiple diamond awards for support in the region he manages.
Tyronne runs an outstanding business, with a perfect 5-star rating across 220 surveys. He keeps delivering exceptional service to customers while helping his fellow franchisees whenever he can.
