At Jim’s Dog Wash, we care for all our furry friends. Not only do we like to make sure every pooch looks clean and fresh, we want to help keep them safe too. We understand how tempting it can be to give your furry family member treats of delicious epicurean delights. • Chocolate

Most people are aware that chocolate is dangerous for dogs to consume. But, do you know why?  Chocolate poisonings result from a reaction to the theobromine compound, which is found in chocolate. Signs of chocolate poisoning are, vomiting, diarrhoea, nausea, increased drinking and urination, and hyperactivity. The most dangerous type of chocolate is cooking chocolate. This is because it contains the highest percentage of cocoa.
